Lost Harmony update #3
Welcome back for the third instalment in the series of Lost Harmony blog posts!
As I promised on the end of the last blog, this week was mostly spend working on visual revamp of the whole level. We got ourselves nice mountains on the sides, new lake and city area was split into two. Pre-city where poor people lived and higher city, slightly less poor people lived.
The pre-city features a farm and shacks around it. It will be important for some side stories later ;).
I reworked shader a bit, but I am still not quite happy with the outlines. They are very thick on smaller objects like tree leaves or other vegetation. I am expecting to tweak visuals until the very end as it will be quite important for the game. Not sure entirely how I would call this art style, maybe cell shaded painting?
Either way, I started working on a steam page. I got stuck with the authorities tho, waiting for all the tax checking to be done, but I am hopping to have it live by next week.
I also did bunch of planning and decided to add quite a lot of animals, that you as a player will be able to interact with. It seems to be like the game would feel quite lonely without more animated lives and it should be quite cozy and relaxing space.

Unwind with Lost Harmony, a cozy solar-punk game.
